The Fate of Maidens

A normal dating sim is about convincing a cute mate to love you. In this dating sim, you attempt to find the least bad suitor before your parents grow frustrated and force you to just marry one.  This dating sim features two stats, and arguably they are really just one stat, so it is rules light. The game is loosely set in the early 1700s (before the 1730s).

Reasons to play:

* i giggled a few times while reading my own script
* You can date some horrible men
* Strategy similar to the secretary problem
* 4 bits of custom music

Reason not to play:
i aggressively cut back on scope so this project would be released. Thus,
* i only drew one emotion per character
* in the sunset scene, i just say it is a sunset instead of learning how to use MatrixColor.

You can either play in the browser, or download a windows/linux version. I would rate the downloaded version as a slightly better experience. Or download the source code and play with your local copy of renpy and python.
